She can write songs too?!

When I was little, I filled piles of notebooks with lyrics and even performed a few songs for my family, choreography and all. I still love writing songs and although they’re no longer about ice cream and Polly Pockets, I’ve found new things to write about, like ice cream and heartbreak (those go really well together). I wrote Italy after visiting Italy with my family in 2018 and immediately fell in love with the country. Every time I blow out my birthday candles, I wish to go back (will it not come true now?). I wrote Toy Cars and Pools during my freshman year of college, a time when I was living my best life but also deeply nostalgic about my youth.
